We at the Competence Development Bureau express our deepest sympathy to all Ukrainians affected by the Russian invasion. In response to the ongoing war, we have decided to cease all economic transactions with Russia, joining the international effort to isolate and effectively respond to that country's aggressive actions.
Our actions include:
- Ceasing the recruitment of new students from Russia;
- Suspending access to our platform for existing Russian students;
- Prohibiting Russian institutions from collaborating with our platform;
- Terminating any collaboration or affiliation with Russian institutions;
- Restricting participation in our conferences and events for participants from Russia.
In addition, we are actively working to support humanitarian efforts by assisting our trainers, students, and partners in the affected region. We remain committed to global initiatives that promote peace and will continue to do so.
As an online education platform, we believe that education is a powerful tool to build bridges and promote understanding between people of different backgrounds. However, in these circumstances, we believe it is necessary to take a stand against the actions that have led to this conflict. We are determined to focus our efforts on supporting and providing education to students from other parts of the world while standing in solidarity with those affected by the war.
